Public Workshop Hours:

Tuesday: 1-6 PM

Thursday: 1-6 PM

Saturday: 10 AM-3 PM

Village Wrench is a member of the Mill Community Ministries collective and a neighborhood effort to enrich Greenville’s urban communities through bicycle repair, bike earning, and volunteerism. Since 2014 we have provided free bike repair in several West Side neighborhoods. This workshop is an extension of that public service providing a space for bicycle maintenance and education.

Free or Drop-Off Repair

We offer a space for YOU to build and repair bikes with the guidance of our knowledgeable mechanics. All of our services and used parts are offered for free, but donations are kindly appreciated. All you have to pay for are any brand new materials we may need to use to fix the bike, like a $4 tube.

We also offer a drop-off maintenance service:
Quick Tune Up: $35
Full Tune Up: $65-$100; we’ll assess and give you an accurate estimate before repairs begin.

Bike Sales

Stop into our shop to check out the ever-changing supply of recycled bicycles we offer at affordable prices. All proceeds benefit the work we provide the local community. Bikes are also available on Craigslist (search Village Wrench).

Bike Repair Education

We offer adult and teen learning programs. If you are interested in learning how to repair your bike or if you are a mechanic interested in volunteering your time, please email vw@millcommunity.org. We also run several sessions of 6-Cycle, our teen character & bike building program, each year.
