Volunteer

Be a part of building community and empowering youth through bicycles!

  • GetConnected is Mill Village Ministries’ new volunteer platform! This is where all of our volunteer opportunities will live. As a registered volunteer, you will be able to view volunteer opportunities with all of our programs.

The first time you register to volunteer, you will be prompted to fill out a waiver and complete a profile. Once completed, the waiver will continue to remain active on your profile and allows you to sign up for all Mill Village volunteer opportunities!

On the lefthand panel, click “Programs,” then select the one that interests you. You will be able to view volunteer opportunities and specific shifts.

  • Open Shop is community collaboration centered around bicycles. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-7p*, help assist community members with free bike repair, rebuild bicycles for Earn-a-Bike, harvest bicycles that are designated for scrap, and engage in active learning situations.

To participate in Open Shop, you must wear closed toed shoes. Lightweight gloves are recommended, but not required.

*Check our events calendar for additional open shop nights and classes.
