David Puckett, a 14 year old rising 9th grader, loves going very, very fast on bicycles. David started Momentum bike club last year and learned a joy of riding, especially with a group. In Momentum, David learned about fixing a flat and proper riding etiquette. Through his bike club teacher, Evan, he learned about Village Wrench!

David participated in 6-Cycle 1 in the Spring. During class, he learned to be a fix-a-flat master and worked with the team to repair his bicycle that he would later use to commute. In 6-Cycle 2, David thoroughly enjoyed replacing cassettes and even won the fix-a-flat competition! David now uses his bicycle to commute back and forth to his first job, as a Village Wrench Youth Apprentice. When asked what he loves about his job, his response, “I like helping people out and building great bikes!”
