  • A bike repair and character development program that empowers teenagers to learn more about bikes and themselves. Each week we will learn about a component of bike repair, a character strength, and a skill for safe and confident bike riding. Sessions will be facilitated by mentors who will guide the bike repair and character development activities.

    Runs fall and spring

  • An in-depth look at bike repair for students interested in working as an apprentice in the shop beginning the following summer. Students will do a deep-dive into bike mechanics each week, while participating in character building challenges with mechanic mentors and fellow students. You must complete 6-Cycle 1st Gear or demonstrate equivalent bike riding, character, and repair skills to take part in 6-Cycle 2nd Gear.

    Runs in the spring.

Both of these programs are for students that like bikes and are interested in working at Village Wrench over the summer and being part of the Mill Village Ministries Youth Program throughout high school.
